Nikki J asked:
I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2003. It was ultimately dismissed, because I moved and didn’t keep up with the payments. I was only trying to keep a vehicle and consolidate 1 credit card. So, I decided to just give up the card and pay off the card. Anyway, I would like to file chapter 13 again now, because I have fallen behind on my mortgage. I am able to make the payments, but am having trouble catching up. Is it possible to file ch13 if the last time I filed was less than 7 years ago and wasn’t actually discharged?

no you cant file 13 again until your 7 years is up but you can file chapter 7
its 10 yrs now,and not that easy anymore… you would be better to get ahold of a credit counsler..
It’s been 5 years and you’re looking to file for bankruptcy again? . Holy cow! Maybe it’s time you learned to manage your money, accept responsibility for your actions and face up to your financial obligationsYou probably shouldn’t have been qualified for a mortgage to begin with. Sorry, but you need to learn about responsibility. You ran up the debt, you need to pay it.
