Tania Y asked:

We aren’t going to get our taxes back for 5 years, there no room for loans and credit? Can we make it in 13 and live, and save emegency or repairs?

If you are in any kind of banruptcy, your credit ***** (big time).

Refinancing requires good credit. So no.

    Good Luck…

Keep in mind that refinancing a house means you’d pretty much have to qualify for a mortgage loan all over again. If you’re in Chapter 13, I seriously doubt they’d refinance you.

Sorry, I wouldn’t even try it. And I wouldn’t try to qualify for a car loan under bankruptcy unless you’re willing to pay exorbitant interest each month.
