I have already spoke with a Louisiana Bankruptcy attorney and was told I qualify for chapter 13. The only problem is that I found a new job in Florida that starts in January 09 (would need to move in less than two months). I was told by the attorney that it would take about three months to file the chapter 13.

My questions are: Can I just wait until I move and file in Florida? Or, could I file here in Louisiana, but move before the case is complete; furnishing documents etc by fax or fed-ex.

I own a home (here in LA), which I plan on letting the bank take back as I am not up-side-down on or ahead as far as equity goes. Everything else (one vehicle, unsecured debt and a CC) will be rolled into the ch. 13.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
